Direction and purpose
MCCO envisions an Afghanistan where every mother, child, and family can access quality health care, safe learning opportunities, livelihood support, and protection from preventable harm. We want communities to be heard in the decisions that affect them and to have the resources they need to build healthier, safer, and more resilient futures.
Our mission is to deliver community-centered programs that improve health, education, livelihoods, protection, and accountability. We work with women, youth, children, and vulnerable families to expand access to essential services, strengthen local capacity, and promote dignity, equality, and practical long-term change.
